Module A (six weeks), consists of the following three courses:

  • Clinical Procedures I - 40 Hours
  • Medical Administrative Procedures I - 40 Hours
  • Medical Terminology - 40 Hours

Module B (six weeks), consists of the following three courses:

  • Clinical Procedures II - 40 Hours Lecture; 40 Hours Laboratory
  • Anatomy & Physiology I - 40 Hours
  • Medical Administrative Procedures II - 40 Hours

Module C (six weeks), consists of the following three courses:

  • Laboratory Procedures - 40 Hours Lecture; 40 Hours Laboratory
  • Anatomy & Physiology II - 40 Hours
  • Medical Insurance - 40 Hours

Module D (six-weeks)consists of the following three courses:

  • Clinical Procedures III - 40 Hours Lecture; 40 Hours Laboratory
  • Pharmacology - 40 Hours
  • Medical Office Systems (MediSoft) -40 Hours

Module E consists of a 360 hour externship and the following course:

  • PD100 - Professional Development - 40 Hours

Sessions

The Medical Assistant program day session is nine months in duration, consisting of five-six week modules.Classes meet Monday through Thursday, from 9a.m. to 2p.m. for the first 7 months.

The Medical Assistant program evening session is eleven months in duration, consisting of nine five-week modules. Classes meet Tuesday through Friday,from 6p.m. to 10p.m. for the first 9 months.

The clinical externship is the last two months of the program. Schedules are typically Monday through Friday from 8a.m. to 5p.m.
